Parent Education Classes for Separating/ Divorcing Parents in Nebraska

In Nebraska, during divorce or separation, the State Court requires divorcing parents to attend a class where they can learn useful skills on how to handle the separation process in a way that is less stressful for children involved. is an approved provider by the Supreme Court Office of Dispute Resolution, on behalf of the State Court Administrator, to educate parties about the impact of separation and divorce on children throughout the state of Nebraska.

Parents will need to provide the court with the Nebraska State Court Form DC6:5.5 titled “Certificate of Completion of Parenting Education Course.” The form is available in English and Spanish.
